Lyndon puts quality and comfort into retirement

When Anchor Trust’s newly-built luxury retirement development - Hurst Place in Haywards Heath, West Sussex - required furnishing, handcrafted soft seating from Lyndon by Boss Design was chosen to replicate the look and feel of a high-end hospitality design.

Specified in conjunction with leading commercial interior design specialists, Devon Interiors of Exeter, an exquisite assortment of seating from Lyndon’s revered collections provides elegance and comfort throughout selected public areas of the first-class facilities.

Chosen to exude refinement and indulgence, armchairs and sofas from Lyndon’s Lysander collection take centre stage in Hurst Place’s Club House. Upholstered in soft velvet to complement the tasteful décor of the light and airy room, the seating also features coordinating cushions in the same fabric to provide the perfect finishing touch.

Meanwhile, in the Reading Room where comfort and support are necessary for longer periods of seating, armchairs from Lyndon’s Albany and Mr collections fully embrace the user and provide the ultimate in relaxation. Incorporating button detail and handcrafted solid oak legs, the armchairs have been upholstered to complement the calm and restful interior decoration.

Commenting on the choice of Lyndon’s products, Sophie Weeks, Interior Designer at Devon Interiors said, “We chose Lyndon by Boss Design for this project because the quality of the furniture is exceptional. We regularly specify Lyndon products because we know that they are well made, classically designed, and can be used across a number of different types of projects.”

Tim Armitt, Managing Director of Lyndon commented: “We are delighted that Lyndon’s products bring style and serenity to this wonderful establishment. Our seating not only creates a stunning design aesthetic, it offers the practicality, comfort and quality worthy of the best facilities and for people in their older years.”
