COMPAC Technological Quartz and Marble Worksurfaces often copied never equalled.
COMPAC was established in 1975 and is now one of the world’s leading companies involved in the production of technological marble and quartz surfaces. With nearly 40 years’ experience in national and international markets, the evolution of the company has always been defined by innovation and quality. In the UK, COMPAC products are available through a network of kitchen designers/installers and stonemasons via COMPAC’s two purpose designed warehouses in London and Wakefield.
The latest from Compac.
COMPAC’s pioneering ‘engineered stone’ technology has enabled the company to harness the natural colours and beauty of quartz -one of the hardest known substances to man, to offer a range of innovative quartz worksurfaces for a wide variety of applications.
The modern, busy family not surprisingly places high demands on its kitchen worksurfaces – not only do they have to look beautiful, they have to be practical too and offer a range of high performance solutions as well as value for money.
COMPAC’s quartz worksurfaces deliver on all aspects:
Quartz is one of the world’s strongest natural minerals and combined with COMPAC technology makes it the perfect choice for kitchen worksurfaces.
Virtually non porous, COMPAC quartz does not require sealing or polishing just a damp cloth is all that is required to maintain its good looks –it won’t stain either.
COMPAC quartz worksurfaces have an extremely low absorbency level which greatly reduces the potential for the growth of harmful bacteria thus providing the ideal surface for safe food preparation.
COMPAC quartz worksurfaces combine the elegance and depth of quarried stone with a guaranteed consistency of colour and design, from the totally natural look to the mirror –speckled ultra-modern finish.
COMPAC quartz worksurfaces are engineered for longevity and represent real long term value compared to laminates, wood, solid surfaces, limestone and other natural stones. Colour consistency and continual performance is simply unachievable with any other surface.
Technological Marble Worksurfaces
Natural marble, although beautiful to look at and touch, is extremely expensive, difficult to fabricate and costly to transport. Patterns and colours vary from slab to slab and it has to be carefully maintained.
It can also be fragile, easily stained, damaged and its excessive quarrying has had an environmental impact too.
COMPAC have, by utilising advanced manufacturing techniques, been able to create ‘technological marble’- an engineered stone composite which has the look and feel of natural marble but with properties that eradicate many of the problems associated with it.
Containing up to 96% natural marble mixed with resins, COMPAC’s technological marble has a hardness that is similar to marble but its resistance to impact and breakage is much greater owing to its enhanced flexibility. It has a consistent, uniform appearance and can be fitted to large surfaces without breaks or differences in colour tone being noticeable.
Its porosity is practically zero therefore absorption of water and other liquids is minimal thus achieving a hygienic product that is both easy to clean and maintain.
Like natural stone, COMPAC’s technological marble can also be polished, thus maintaining its shine and original appearance for much longer.
It is a versatile too with a wide range of colours, textures and sizes available .It can be used on kitchen and bathroom floors, walls, vanity tops, building facades, staircases, fireplaces and on high footfall surfaces such as airports, rail stations, shopping malls, public buildings, etc.
Because it is lighter than natural marble, COMPAC’s technological marble is easier to fabricate and install.
