Installing a Timber Window and Door Bay in Surrey

The Sash Window Workshop was contacted to manufacture and install bespoke timber windows and doors for a period property in Surrey.

The customer was looking to replace three bespoke casement windows and two French doors in the living room. After receiving the initial enquiry, a sales surveyor from The Sash Window Workshop arranged a site visit to measure the existing windows and doors and to provide a quotation for the work. The quotation was then sent across to the main contact to review.

The timber windows and doors needed to be designed to the match the existing style of the windows and doors and to be manufactured to the highest quality, to enhance both the look and comfort of the property.

Once the order had been placed and the details had been signed off, the new windows and doors were put into manufacture. The windows and doors were manufactured at the company’s workshops in Bracknell, Berkshire. The new joinery was made in Oak, with the internal painted an off white and the external stained.

The windows and doors were then installed at the property over four days by two of The Sash Window Workshop’s installers.

As The Sash Window Workshop is registered with FENSA, on completion of the work the customer received a FENSA certificate for the complete new windows and doors.

The Sash Window Workshop has over 20 years’ experience manufacturing, installing and repairing timber windows and doors across London and the South, offering a supply only service nationwide. To obtain a free, no obligation quotation, contact The Sash Window Workshop on: 01344 868 668.
