The Sash Window Workshop Receives BS 6375-1:2009

    The Sash Window Workshop is proud to have achieved classification of weathertightness in accordance with standard BS 6375-1:2009 for vertical sliding sash windows.

    The required tests to meet the standard were carried out on The Sash Window Workshop's vertical sliding sash windows on the 20th March 2017.

    The BS 6375-1:2009 standard specifies the exposure categories related to test pressure levels for external windows and doorsets. The tests incorporate air permeability, BS EN 1026:200, watertightness, BS EN 1027:2000, and resistance to wind load, BS EN 12211:2000.
